Kasee & Daniel - a love story for a rainy day.

It rained and it rained, then it rained some more. But all this dampness didn't hinder the celebrations that were Kasee and Daniel's wedding day. Kasee arrived on a tractor and they were married in a farm shed with their family and friends. We ventured off on what should have been a superb three hours of photography time - a photographer's dream.... but the rain continued to come down.... thanks goodness for BIG umbrellas. There were loads of laughs though and a huge bridal party to share the fun with. Jake, their little boy was right in the middle of everything and shared in all of the fun too.
Thanks everyone for a fun day playing in the rain.

The Eaton Family Portraits

Some serious cuteness here - all families should have a little sister like this one, ooh and a big sister too and lets just throw a brother in the middle for good measure and an extra dash of cuteness - he's going to hate reading this in a few years - isn't he? But I think he'll remember what fun he had while he was here. Katelyn and Jacob go to school with my girls and Katelyn and Cierra are in the same class and play netball and touch together. It's always a special privilege to create some beautiful family memories for friends. Thanks so much for a lovely afternoon.

The Beach - a little love story and a puppy.

After a long LONG long day of school athletics, highland dancing and swimming lessons my family ended up on the beach to work with Maria and Joel on their engagement shoot. They were so much fun and had treated their little dog Ella to a trip to the beach too - my girls and Ella had the best ever time playing together while I worked and the happy couple posed..... a great end to a busy day.
There is something special about beach photos and I just love it whenever I get to do a seaside photo shoot. Maria and Joel spend a lot of time at this particular beach - in fact, rumour has it, that this is the very beach where Joel "popped THE question". I am excited about working with them both again soon at their wedding next year. In the meantime I am fending off requests from two little girls who are wanting a puppy for Christmas..... yes, yes, I know puppies are SOOOOOOOO cute, but we already have four dogs and yes, yes I do realise they are FARM dogs and they don't chase tennis balls, but I'm not convinced that we need to add a puppy to the craziness that is our life, three lambs, four dogs and a three-legged cat are plenty to be going on with.
Thanks Maria and Joel for a great evening down at the beach - the Reid Family had a ball.
