Liz & Calvin - Engagement Portraits

Liz and Calvin are getting married early next year and we took the opportunity to get some engagement  photos done before the weather turned nasty. So glad we did because winter has set in well and truly now and all of that golden autumn goodness has disappeared.

Liz and Calvin brought their gorgeous chocolate lab out for some photos too - he was amazing and only needed a couple of doggy treats to get him to smile for the camera.

Young love.....such a special time and this couple are just so cute together. Roll around January -  I can't wait to see them again on their wedding day!!

With huge snowfalls forecast for the next couple of days I hope you've all got plenty of firewood handy and some emergency supplies in the cupboards. Keep warm everyone!!

Melanie - modelling portfolio

This is my very first modelling portfolio - I'm not sure if it really counts though because it was for my friend Melanie. I've known this gorgeous girl since high school - she will tell you that she was much younger than me, and she would be right. Then we met up again many years later when we were in the same ante natal group......ten years on Melanie has just completed a make-up course with AliMcD Modelling Agency here in Dunedin. Her gorgeousness was spotted and they wanted her to submit a portfolio to their agency........so here we are.

I had a lot of fun with this photoshoot - in spite of the miserable wet weather. Maybe, just maybe, you have always dreamed of being a super model and would like to grab a friend and set up an unofficial and super fun "modelling session" then........I can make your dreams come true. We might even be able to get Melanie on the job for some fabulous make up......let me know if you like this idea and I can book you in. Puddle Jumping

 Stephanie and Rick got a free engagement portrait session when they booked their wedding at The Wedding Show..... and they decided to that Autumn leaves would make a greta back drop. Perfect - I love autumn leaf photos. Ariana and Cayden joined them and may well have turned the engagement session into a family session. But that's what it's all about when you have kids.

 Don't you wish you were little again -  this looks so much fun!!

 Couldn't resist adding this to the collection - it will be a great one to save for his 21st.

 Temptation got the better of her though.......

 It had to happen sooner or later.....someone would get VERY wet.

 All good things come to an end .... this sad face wasn't because Cayden got wet, it was because he wanted to get even wetter and we had to spoil his fun and get back to serious stuff like photo taking.
He is pretty cute when he's sad though.

 All dried off and coaxing some smiles with yellow lollipops - works every time.

Thanks for coming out and jumping in my puddles. Roll on November when we get to do it all again. Only next time you'll all be dressed up and puddles might not be a good idea!!
