A thank you gift from a friend - some lovely home grown lemons!!
A kitchen that is need of some baking - I have an idea!

And it was one of my better ideas I must say!

Thank you Emma for the lovely lemons - pop over for some pie!

Isabella.

Guess what?  Isabella's mummy and daddy are getting married.....real soon. To celebrate the love we got together for a portrait session. It could have been an engagement session but Nikkii and Tom decided that a family session to mark the occasion of Miss Isabella turning ONE would be a much nicer thing to do - and it was! Isabella visited me a year ago for some newborn photos so it was extra specially lovely to be able to photograph her again as a one year old and to be looking forward to seeing them all again at THE WEDDING!! Only two and a half weeks to go!

Maren & Manuel - a holiday wedding.

A few months ago I got an email all the way from Germany. Maren and Manuel were planning a holiday to New Zealand and wanted to get married in Dunedin while they were here. Was I interested in being their photographer.......and also their witness....... so here we are months down the track at the wedding of a super sweet couple.
I only met them about five minutes before the ceremony which was held in the B&B they were staying in at Company Bay as the weather was too wet for the original location of Sandfly Bay. Still the weather did nothing to dampen the love and romance of the occasion and Rob and I felt blessed to be a part of it all.
It was so lovely to meet you both, to share your special day with you, have a coffee together the next day when you came out to pick up your photos and to now have a beautiful bridal bouquet gracing my table.

Ngapera & Dylan - Married @ The Homestead in Oamaru

This wedding was overflowing with love, laughter and fun - not to mention pretty dresses, beautiful flowers, swish cars and an extra dash of cuteness added by Ngapera's nieces and nephew. This was not only a joining of two families it was a blending of two cultures too and it was filled with special moments for Dylan and Ngapera to cherish. Rob and I loved the chance to head back to Oamaru and see this fabulous couple again after we photographed them back in October. We had been looking forward to their wedding and we were not to be disappointed - it was a perfect day!

Meet Micah - Ngapera's nephew and a fantastic pageboy - he was in charge of looking after the balloons that were released during the wedding ceremony and he did a great job. Both of the balloons made it to the reception in tact and ready for take off!

This is Dylan - the man of the moment all ready to head off to marry his girl.

Tahlia and Monica, Ngapera's nieces were responsible for adding an extra dash of cuteness to the day.

Ngapera - so beautiful and ready to pledge her life and love to Dylan.
Yes - I know!!! Loving a cool convertible for a wedding.

Ngapera being walked down the aisle by her big brother, the only boy in a family of eight girls.

As the happy couple walked down the aisle they were treated to a haka by Nga's nephews and cousins (to be fair there may have been friends in there too) an awesome treat for us as well!!

Some bling for you to enjoy and also a pretty bracelet given to Ngapera by Dylan during the ceremony.

A day filled with wonderful things - the prelude to a life together filled with the same. Much love to you both as you start out your new life together.
