Happy New Year! The first wedding of the year and we got to enjoy some Larnach Castle loveliness.
Maggie and Antony celebrated their special with friends and family who have travelled from far and wide - Antony's family from Auckland and Maggie's all the way from the States. I'm sad that Dunedin couldn't have provided some better weather for them to enjoy - the only miserable day in a long stretch of hot summer days - but hey you cannot control the weather!
Maggie got ready at Camp Estate right beside Larnach Castle. The host Michael made Rob and I feel right at home from the moment we arrived. This is a perfect venue for wedding portraits. Light, airy but on a day like this, the most important thing was that it was warm.
Lexi - a little bit of cuteness for you.
So much prettiness girls - you all look amazing.
Maggie - you look just like a princess!
A few laughs before we head off to meet the boys for some pre-wedding photos.
I think Antony looks pretty pleased with his wife to be.....
excited about starting a new life together here in New Zealand.
Awww...
Even though it was freezing - these guys pretended really hard that they were warm.
I think they did a great job.
The boys - all looking just a little bit James Bondish.
And back to Camp Estate to thaw out before the ceremony.
Lovely to celebrate special occasions with close family.
Harp music - so beautiful to listen too.
Waiting to escort his beautiful bride safely down the stairs. Shots courtesy of Rob.
A different angle - Rob 's ones again... Loving them.
The good thing about cold days is the clouds....
Love these shots that Rob took of the harbour.....I'm just not quite tall enough to see over the sides.Jolene from Estelle Flowers estelleflowers.co.nz did a beautiful job in transforming the ballroom into a little piece of magic - so pretty.
A little bit of bling. I am a little bit in love with that engagement ring.
A HUGE thank you to Maggie and Antony for trusting us with their wedding photography. And to Jolene for her floral decorations and to Michelle from the Castle for making the day run so smoothly - in spite of a fire alarm just before the ceremony.
Nothing like a bit of drama to keep everyone on their toes.
Maggie and Antony all the very best wishes to you both.
Much love and happiness always.
