Cate and Nathan said "I do" at the cute little town of Pukehiki out on the Otago Peninsula.
The church was quaint and filled with those nearest and dearest to Cate and Nathan - including a whole bunch of faces I knew. I always love turning up to a wedding and find that you know some of the guests. This was a totally fun wedding... there was love and laughter, beautiful fancy shoes (love those pink shoes Cate) and gorgeous flowers - the sun shone brightly and the bride glowed in the sunshine. The wine flowed as the celebrations began - a testimony to Cate and Nathan's shared love of wine tasting. Their friends were my favourite kind of people - those who loved to be in my photos, instead of turning their heads or hiding behind someone else at the last minute - thanks so very much Cate and Nathan and your wonderful friends for making this day such a dream.
This wee sneak peek is rather large so in honour of Cate and Nathan, pour yourself a glass of your favourite tipple and enjoy some prettiness.
I love how special people who are no longer with us can still be a part of the celebrations. In this case Cate's dad travelled with her all day - close to her and sharing in her day.
Mary and Katie did a fantastic job of taking care of Cate - there was so much laughter.
Truly beautiful.....
Cate and her mum - and isn't there a stunning view from Mary's house - St Clair from above.
What a view!
Time for a glass of bubbles.....
The guests arrived on this awesome bus - totally cool.
I remember when they were the buses around town.
Uh huh - old aren't I?
The boys - Nathan, Wayne and Ryan - meeting and greeting the guests and waiting for the girls to arrive. Looking pretty swish in their wedding finery.
Cate arrived in her cousin's car - awesome! Cate you totally rocked the car shot ..... LOVE it!
Here comes the bride with her brother - I know a lot of brothers who would happily give away their sisters - but it's extra special when it's on her wedding day.
Ha ha - told you they were fun!
And here they are - all married and ready to celebrate.
Cate is a librarian at the University of Otago - some cute little library photo especially for her.
All you need is love and something sparkly.
Playing on the road side for these pics - got loads of toots from cars and a pony even stopped to say hello - just goes to show how much people (and ponies) love weddings.
Some rustic farming ruins - right next to the Tautuku Fishing Club
- a brilliant backdrop for some more pics.
My favourite photo of the day! Love the sky and the buildings and of course Cate and Nathan too.
The Tautuku Fishing Club is an amazing venue. I just LOVE it.
Totally cute!
Cheers guys - thanks for sharing your totally amazing, super fun wedding day with me.
I'll treasure it always!
