And a whole lots of friends and family to help celebrate that love.
River Ridge Retreat in the Catlins is the perfect place to host a wedding - guests can stay in the on site accommodation for the whole weekend so the celebrations can just go on and on.
I have a whole lot of prettiness and s sprinkling of cuteness to share with you.
Lisa and Wayne along with Neko and Sariah (Wayne's children) were so great to spend the day with. There were kids, and dog, everywhere and it was a real family celebration. SO much fun ....
Lisa got ready at her Mum and Dad's in Balclutha
with her sister Maire and sister-in-law Shelley helping her out.
The house was filled with love and laughter and really helped set the scene for the day ahead.

Lisa's step daughter Sariah and her little niece Charlotte were super excited to be a part of the day.
I loved working with them both so much - the most helpful and cute flower girls ever.

This is precisely the moment when a bug, or maybe it was a speck of dust got in Wayne's eye.
Caused a fair bit of eye watering too.
The kids were involved in the vows too - very cool idea. I think I heard them promising to do the dishes and keep their rooms tidy.... or maybe I just imagined it.
Love that the dogs seemed to be taking it all in.
Robyn Fox, the celebrant did a fabulous job with serious business of the day.
