Puddle Jumping

Stephanie and Rick got a free engagement portrait session when they booked their wedding at The Wedding Show..... and they decided to that Autumn leaves would make a greta back drop. Perfect - I love autumn leaf photos. Ariana and Cayden joined them and may well have turned the engagement session into a family session. But that's what it's all about when you have kids.

Don't you wish you were little again -  this looks so much fun!!

Couldn't resist adding this to the collection - it will be a great one to save for his 21st.

Cayden has spied a puddle - Ariana looks a little unsure.......
Temptation got the better of her though.......

It had to happen sooner or later.....someone would get VERY wet.

All good things come to an end .... this sad face wasn't because Cayden got wet, it was because he wanted to get even wetter and we had to spoil his fun and get back to serious stuff like photo taking.
He is pretty cute when he's sad though.
All dried off and coaxing some smiles with yellow lollipops - works every time.

Thanks for coming out and jumping in my puddles. Roll on November when we get to do it all again. Only next time you'll all be dressed up and puddles might not be a good idea!!

Rochelle & Mike - Wedding @ Grandview Gardens.

The Proposal involved Rochelle jumping off the high diving board at Moana Pool and winning an engagement ring - thanks to Classic Hits. Mike has got himself one very brave girl. In the lead up to the wedding Mike has been busy cutting out wooden hearts and little signs to add to the wedding atmosphere and I have to say, he has done a great job.
There was a surprise visit on the big day from Classic Hits who turned up with one of their vehicles, decked out with ribbons to take Rochelle out to Grandview Gardens. A great surprise!!
If you look closely at the photos you'll see that Mike's twin brother was his best man - this caused mild confusion for the photographer who almost got them muddled up quite a few times.
I had a fantastic time working with Rochelle and Mike and their amazing bridal party - they were all so much fun and so organised, bringing props for the photos and gumboots for the girls to get around the gardens in - such a practical idea.
A truly beautiful day that I was privileged to be a part of.
Thanks Rochelle and Mike for sharing your day with me.
Wishing you both a "Very Happy Ever After".

This is a pretty big blog, so pull up a comfy chair, make yourself a cuppa and....
ENJOY!!

Well......this is officially the last wedding for this season "Sniff sniff", but it was a great one to finish on and I'll be back in October with Teressa and Tony's wedding (unless someone else sneaks in and books a spring wedding in September......there are a few weekends free). A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hello to Rob and I at the wedding show. I'm so looking forward to working with you on your wedding days. Roll on next season - just need a LONG relaxing rest first though.

Renovations are almost complete on our new house so we can move in anytime. It will be a real treat - you should see my new kitchen, I'm going to even love washing dishes now.....but wait, I do believe I'll have a dishwasher YAY!!!! Can't wait.

Now the weddings are finished we have a couple of engagement sessions to edit and a few family portraits. If you want to book family portraits with Lisa Reid Photography then let me know, there are some spaces left before I start getting busy with next season's weddings.

A HUGE thank you to all the Brides, Grooms and Wedding Parties I've worked with this year - I have the BEST job EVER!!
