Emma & Dan - Wedding @ Grandview Gardens.

You may have met Emma and Dan in my last blog when we got together for their engagement session. They are such fun to be around and on their wedding day they were even more fun. The wedding was beautifully detailed and styled.....with a fuschia pink theme running throughout. The boys were decked out in very cool pink ties and carried stunning pocket watches and filled in the time waiting for the girls doing tricks with their silver engraved yoyos....pretty cool!! I just wish I was tall enough to do tricks with a yoyo....it almost hits the ground before it bounces back up and can never get enough momentum to keep going. Anyway....the girls were stunning in pink, and Emma had THE most amazingly blinging hot pink shoes....WOW!! I maybe took a few too many photos of these shoes but when you see them you'll see why.
To top it all off, not only was it their wedding day, it was Dan's birthday too. Is this a cunning plan so he will always remember his wedding anniversary? I love listening to the wedding speeches. All the secrets come out and you find out just what they were like as kids...I think Dan may have been a bit of a livewire, his mum certainly had some pretty funny stories to tell.
Well... Emma and Dan I had a fantastic time with you and I can't wait for you to see your photos.

Enjoy!!
 Shoes.....my favourite!!

Charlotte - trying to catch a wee peek of the bride - so cute!

I love the dreamy style of this shot - Emma looks like a fifties movie star.

Oooh .... it's those shoes again!

Wishing you both much happiness.

Emma & Dan - engagement session.

Emma and Dan live in Australia and have come back home to Dunedin to get married. A few days before their wedding we met up for a quick photo shoot. This girl has got an eye for a great pair of shoes - they look fab!! And just wait until you see what she's wearing for her wedding shoes!!!
My very next job is start working on their wedding images so you shouldn't have to wait too long to see them both in their wedding finery.
Well without further ado......here they are folks.......Emma and Dan.

So pretty.... if I had a pair of these I would look SO much taller.... pity I'd struggle to stand up in them.

Rebecca & David - Wedding @ St. Joseph's Cathedral.

The rain threatened, the sun shone brightly, and then those clouds rolled in once again and the heavens opened up just in time for Rebecca's arrival at the church. The rain did nothing to dampen the spirits of the friends and family who gathered to share David and Rebecca's beautiful wedding.
Rebecca looked absolutely gorgeous and was surrounded by her sister's looking stunning in a delicate soft pink.... David was looking pretty good too and was relaxing prior to the wedding with a couple of mates ... his groomsman and bestman.
With umbrellas on hand we braved the wet weather and headed off to some sheltered spots for the location photos .... my favourite location was the brilliant garden of David's boss....amazing!!
At the reception there was a huge lolly bar where the guests could fill little boxes with their favourite sweeties... I love that idea! Another great idea was getting the guests to write messages on Jenga game pieces - genius - and a fantastic reminder of their day and the special people who shared it with them.

The boys looking cool calm and collected.

 The girls looking fabulous.
 A mother daughter moment.

Wow Rebecca - you are absolutely breathtaking!!

Grandma just popped in and helped Rebecca with the veil - the same veil she wore on her wedding day - a very sentimental and special moment.

 Mr and Mrs Laney.
 The girls admiring the bling.

A pair of very well behaved dogs equals one very impressed photographer.

Loved the cake with the golfer and his bride perched on the top.... David's obviously keen on golf, but I did hear a wee rumour that Rebecca just might be the better golfer....
I had a great day with Mr and Mrs Laney and their amazing bridal party - can't wait for them to see their photos.
