The rain threatened, the sun shone brightly, and then those clouds rolled in once again and the heavens opened up just in time for Rebecca's arrival at the church. The rain did nothing to dampen the spirits of the friends and family who gathered to share David and Rebecca's beautiful wedding.
Rebecca looked absolutely gorgeous and was surrounded by her sister's looking stunning in a delicate soft pink.... David was looking pretty good too and was relaxing prior to the wedding with a couple of mates ... his groomsman and bestman.
With umbrellas on hand we braved the wet weather and headed off to some sheltered spots for the location photos .... my favourite location was the brilliant garden of David's boss....amazing!!
At the reception there was a huge lolly bar where the guests could fill little boxes with their favourite sweeties... I love that idea! Another great idea was getting the guests to write messages on Jenga game pieces - genius - and a fantastic reminder of their day and the special people who shared it with them.
The boys looking cool calm and collected.
The girls looking fabulous.
A mother daughter moment.
Wow Rebecca - you are absolutely breathtaking!!
Grandma just popped in and helped Rebecca with the veil - the same veil she wore on her wedding day - a very sentimental and special moment.
Mr and Mrs Laney.
The girls admiring the bling.
A pair of very well behaved dogs equals one very impressed photographer.
Loved the cake with the golfer and his bride perched on the top.... David's obviously keen on golf, but I did hear a wee rumour that Rebecca just might be the better golfer....
I had a great day with Mr and Mrs Laney and their amazing bridal party - can't wait for them to see their photos.
