About five years ago, I photographed Emma and Hamish's wedding and recently they came for a visit with their super cool son Lochlan. What a confidant and friendly wee guy he is and the two of us soon became great friends. This may or may not be because I have a tractor (I may have glossed over the fact that I don't know how to drive tractors). As you can see we had a bit of a look around the farm and got some great family shots on the way. In fact, Lochie was so busy exploring he hardly noticed that he was the star of a family portrait session.
This little boy is awesome - he can come and visit me anytime. He made a great impression on Rob too, and he even got a ride in the big red tractor with "The Farmer".
Give someone small a whole pile of gravel and a river and you can amuse them for hours.
There's something so appealing about tossing handfuls of gravel or single stones into water.
"Show us your muscles!!"
It was love at first sight - a little boy and a big red tractor - a match made in heaven.
I love it when little people bring their "Special Buddies" to a photoshoot.
So nice to capture these special friendships.
Thanks so much for coming to visit me and for bringing Sheepie to see me too.
Looking forward to you visiting again soon.
